Prior to starting his own firm, he participated in the criminal prosecution of over 200 criminal cases for both the Linn County Attorney’s Office and the Iowa City Attorney’s Office.

Mr. Holson has been involved in criminal defense since he was in college.  He worked as a clerk at the Orangeburg County (South Carolina) Public Defender’s Office and then was a law clerk at the Hennepin County Public Defender’s Office.  Upon graduation from law school, Mr. Holson clerked as a law clerk for a Hennepin County judge.  Mr. Holson has been a criminal defense attorney since 2004 working both as a Stearns County Public Defender and in private practice.  He has successfully represented clients throughout the state of Minnesota on matters ranging from traffic offenses to murder.  Mr. Holson focuses his practice on defending people charged with crimes occurring in Stearns, Benton, Wright, Sherburne, Morrison, and other nearby counties.
